HLB Tietotili Customer Experience Development Strategy Kick-Off & Spring Party 2024

25 June 2024

The busiest time of the year for accountants has come to an end, and the summer holiday season has begun. To celebrate another successful financial statement season, the HLB Tietotili’s Fun Committee organised a very special evening with excellent food and a surprise guest. Before the evening, however, our staff gathered in the Ostrobotnia ballroom for a training session.

Customer Experience Development Strategy Kick-Off 2024

One of our values is "pioneering", which means that we aim to continuously improve our processes to provide the best possible services to our clients. This is particularly reflected in the training of our staff. In addition to developing knowledge and skills, we also want to improve our customer experience on a wider scale.

HLB Tietotili's administration team has been hard at work over the past year finalising the updated strategy. Pekka Juujärvi from Pro Enabler, who was also present at the kick-off event, has been there to support and advise us through the process. We thank him for his time and expertise.

The training day consisted of a presentation of the new strategy and prospects, as well as practical exercises. We also mixed up the seating so that people from our different offices could get to know each other. As the company grows and expands, we want to ensure and strengthen unhindered communication between the different offices.

One of the biggest changes in the review of the new strategy was the introduction of HLB Tietotili’s updated values – the new addition was "responsibility". The value itself is already integrated in our business operations, but now it is also written down. Together we want to create responsible and sustainable value for our customers, employees, and other stakeholders.

Spaghetti and marshmallow challenge

As part of the training, we held a playful competition. The goal was to build the tallest possible structure out of spaghetti as well as a piece of tape and string in small groups. In the end, the tower had to be able to stand upright and support a marshmallow.

All the teams had the same initial strategy, but the final result varied widely. The materials are not the sturdiest, and the fact that you could only speak at the design stage made it difficult to adapt quickly. The assembly phase itself was carried out in silence.

Spring Party 2024

After the training day, we headed to Storyville on the corner of the same block, a long-time customer of HLB Tietotili. Spirits were high as we had a very special guest for the evening. The food was excellent, and it received a lot of praise. The evening was rounded off by a very well-known name here in Finland - Michael Monroe.

We had the honour of spending the evening with Michael and enjoying a private gig. As a client of the Helsinki office, he was happy to come and perform at our spring party. We would like to thank both our Fun Committee for organising this wonderful evening and Michael for an excellent show.
